Healing Session Description

A Reiki session with Quantum Touch usually takes two hours. At the beginning of the session Rev. Janet will do a health intake and do some muscle checking (biofeedback from the body; sometimes referred to as muscle testing and/or Kinesiology) to assist her in prioritizing what areas are in need of Quantum Touch and healing. During the Reiki session, the client lies on a massage table fully-clothed, usually starting on the back and then sometimes turning over on the stomach. Rev. Janet places her hands lightly on the body, or just above, usually starting at the head and working down towards the feet, working with the seven major Chakra Energy Systems. The client is encouraged to relax and often feels a sense of flowing heat, coolness, or tingling and sometimes experiences a deep sleep.

If the client has a source of pain, whether physical or emotional, Quantum Touch will be used to assist in reducing or getting rid of the pain during the session. This is done with the client either laying, sitting or standing, fully-clothed. Quantum Touch is another method of hands on healing that uses breathing, visualization and body awareness meditation techniques to assist and accelerate the body's innate ability to heal itself.

The client's "inner healer" or immune system draws the energy into the energy field or aura. This helps to eliminate energetic "blockages" that are often one source of pain. With the clearing of these blockages, the client's full energy can be used for achieving homeostasis or balance.
